Got home at 5:45 a.m. this morning. The guys, Ferrel, Nick, and I traveled over 3500 miles in 7 days. Finished judging at 7:00 p.m. last night. As you guys know Sal's kit was awesome. Lots of action the birds knew how to set up and roll. They were not off the side or plate rolling, water falling etc. it was just Bam bam bam straight back and in perfect form. Lloyd Lee's kit was second and after the BOP really settled down and flew good. Jim Bowen had the deepest birds of the fly. One kit in Missou lost four birds to BOP. Lots of attacks on this fly.
Most of guys really need to take time to thank their wifes. Sals, Larry, Jim Bowen and the Missouri guys fed us until we popped. Val you are awesome I'll call you real soon.

P.S. Sometime ask Sal and Larry what I'm truely good at!!!!!

We should be thanking you Carl! It was great to meet you and thanks for all your insight. Your welcome here anytime! Hope you make it up around Christmas.
Way to go Sal! Let me know as soon as you know the fly date on the finals. I will try to shuffle my schedule around to come watch. Call me tonight, I work all night and will be up!

It's good to see that you made it home safely. I want to thank you for taking time out to judge our region. I really enjoyed getting the chance to meet you guys and look forward to having you all back in the future.

Carl, I am glad you are finally home bro and thank you for all your hard work on the fly! 7 days away from the family is not a easy task! On that note Ferrell and Nick my hats of to you both!

Thanks but Ferrel and Nick were the ones who drove and had to put up the most. I'm only 51 these guys are sliding backwards and it really takes a toll on the body and mind. Not sleeping in your own bed waking up and seeing these two guys every morning. Wondering how your birds are doing etc. But thanks again for youz guys understandin.
