34. John Beeson - did not fly

Oklahoma and Kansas suffered from severe weather. Extremely windy with intermitant driving rain. Many hawk attacks prevented some kits from flying well. Two fliers could not fly because hawks had eliminated so many birds that they could not muster up the minimum number of birds. Birds were still suffering from the molt which may had something to do with a lethargic performance at some lofts. The weather; the molt; the hawks can be either diverted or weakened by pushing the fly back a couple of weeks (maybe). This is something we need to mull over and resolve in our minds before the next one.

I want to give special thanks to all of you fine people that fed us; put us up in your homes overnight; and paid for our meals. The women step up because they love us……….we are fortunate and we are thankful. God bless the women in our goofy lives.
