I seen a post about this a while ago and I think someone mentioned that you can pop it with a clean needdle and release the air.

I once had a Young guy fall on the floor for some reason, and it was pretty cold I could tell he would only sitting there for about 30 mins or an hour, he was cold and his chest was puffy.. DO NOT POP IT! :) It will deflate by itself.. It is rare but can happen..

it wasnt because its was cold..
it just puffed up...
well i just try poping it no changes...but well see wat happens..if it lives it lives..if it goes it goes...unless i there some kinds of cure for it..i had this in the past also to a cock...but i think they are different tho..the cock looked like a roller but with a pouter chest..this one just looks like it got a very thick neck...

A friend of mine had this a couple months ago with an older bird. He did not pop it and the bird died.

I've never had this problem but I've seen enough posts on here in the past saying it works to pop it,I'd go for it if you have the stomach for that kind of thing.I'm a wooos when it comes to surgery.

The needle doesn't hurt that bad if you do it quickly. Doesn't really hurt at all -- it's when we inject that it hurts -- it's the medicine that hurts, not the needle, so do the surgery without fear of hurting the bird! Hey, would you keep this thread going and let us know how your bird turns out?
