pat66 i got them from santiago ortiz our club president he's had this line as far back to the 80's he said they go back to ted reyes,perry chavez and some of the old guys this one i flew and has not come back ???i am hoping he makes it back ,his parents were deep

Nice looking birds,I never had muffs until LaRon sent me some L.J.SMITH birds, now I have lavenders-whites- and blacks that cover the toes and they are some of my better rollers,now I am kinda partial to them-as long as they are kept clean-I hate a dirty MUFF L.O.L.

Pat - As you know the Smith birds were loaded with grouse and muff. 1220 stuff also.

jnyce they are kind of the same thing, but if you put a muff with a regular unbooted one, you will get one of each probably.. personally don't breed muffs though..

I love the look of a muffed Birmingham Roller...and the grouse legged. Mine are some dynamite rollers too. I have never noticed any difference from the other rollers besides the muffs. They are the same size, fly the same, roll the same, etc.
