Whats up Efren, Would you be able to tell us about your breeding setup and post some pics up. Im rebuilding my breeding setup for this season and might be interested in doing the IBP setup instead of openloft. I was impressed with your setup from what I remember from your site. How did you make the automatic waterering system. As far as convenience how much harder is IBP to openloft? Pros and cons? Thanks Efren.

Hey Gary,
Well you know I had Open Loft and I really like it as I like to see the birds flying around and interacting. I switched to Individuals for the following reasons:
- 100% that the young are from the pairings
- No issues with other cocks fighting for the wrong breeding compartments
- Not having to worry too much if a bird got sick that it will spread to the rest of the breeders
- Not having to wear different shoes to step into the loft, bird crap everywhere
As far as feeding, my biggest concern was the increase in time on feeding and watering, so I seen how one of my club members Robert Miller had his set up and talked to him about it and he told me that it was less work. So I did the same and added the watering system as adding the water to them every day would take quite some time. So by doing this you eliminate that hassle. As far as the feed, I feed them every 3 days. So all in all, it is much cleaner and less work with the individuals than it was when I had open loft, plus the main thing being 100% on the offspring.
