Is this a coloured roller? What colour is he?? I got him from my Red bar and my yellow.. I will definitely be flying this one and have very high hopes for him.
Just thought I'd put these on here too, although they don't really go with the title. Here is my main breeding pair of white doves. They are both banded 08 and I think they are doing an excellent job incubating Tony's wooden egg. :D They overnight in this cage but are out in a 20x8 (half of which is flight pen) loft during the day.. :)

give that silver bird bout another week, then u mite be able 2 tell what color its gone be, cuz the color aint all the way in yet....

roller alley, your bird does appear to be a lavendar, cant really tell from the angle of the photo. Technically it is an Ash Red Spread. Spread is the same factor that makes a blue pigeon appear to be black. Andrew, since your young bird came from an Ash Red Bar cock, I'm guessing this cock also is carrying blue, and a recessive yellow hen the youngster appears to be a silver bar. silver.did you no if reds silver mealey ect have littel black flcks on them thay will turn out cocks fact.
