They look good Tony. How old are they?
Listen,I hate being critical but when I see some thing wrong I just can't shutup. You are going to be sorry you used particleboard on that floor and especially not having paint on it.

Its good to be critical,
absolutely nothing wrong with it.
The problem i had was timing and to have primed and painted would of taken to long, If anyhing ill lay a 1/4 " plywood on the floor

Hey, Kel -- what are friends for? lol

I think the linoleum idea is GREAT! And you can get scrap pieces usually pretty cheap at the hardware store. I really like that idea . . . I'm getting me some!

If you train them right you can leave just like they are, I put carpet on mine nice rug and a little 7 inch color HD-TV and a lil toilet bowl birds keep the place clean they watch old rollers DVD and they learn from them..they have a waiter thats comes around twice a day to feed them..what more can these birds ask for ..maybe a shot gun for the BOP oops did i say that. thank goodness that they don't have fingers so the shot gun won't do them any good..cross that one off the list..

Its exciting getting the birds I know you can"t wait to breed and get babies to fly.

Kel Great point about the floor ...you will not regret putting the plywood over it do it as soon as you can before moisture gets in

Im going to wait and see,
I look at it like this, If im going to be worried about the moister then i have a another problem, you shouldnt have that much moister in a loft to be worried about swelling the OSB

I dont think the problem with the OSB floor is going to be moisture as much as trying to scrape it clean. It`ll chip and peel when yopu try to clean it. The 1/4" plywood is a great idea.

Lino is great if you have a place for feed and supplies where the birds dont poo all over it. But it also wont be fun to scrape clean. Just my take on it....

TT moisture will develop when you spill water from their drinking containers, their pooh which will be nice and moist and also hard to scrap off once it Dries into the particle board .

If you,re not worred about moisture then why did you use plywood for the breeding boxes?

It you're coop so don't worry leave it as is spend hundred already why spend another few bucks for the most important part of the coop.

...oh yeah I almost forgot when the snow hits the ground make sure you take your boots off before you go into the coop.

YEAH,Johnny, you crack the whip there,eh.Can't let Tony get off with this one!!HAH!LOL.I'm tired a being the whip cracker round hereLOL.Go for the 3/8th ply Tony. You won't regret it.But put a couple coats of solid hi-hide colour water based deck stain on the plywood before you lay it out on there to have them crap on it.Then some 1/4 round around the edges on the floor so the dander doesn't get jammed in there and moisture get in behind.

Hey Kel ...I must say you've been a good teacher. Gotta give you a break ... are you the king on that island you live on?

rollers , donecks ,orientals, dogs and if thats not enough i got to hear about the fish ponds you have. Love the pics of your birds and coops nicely painted.I might go with the green next time i paint mine the white really shows the dirt .I

I noticed you pulled your garlic out early....when do you recommend planting of the bulbs I use most of it and its great for the birds
