I worm them a few weeks before putting them together. after that they get the ProBios from Tony in their water avery other day. A shot of vitamins every few days is the rest. ---------- Butch @ Sundance Roller Lofts
samB......I live in Ohio so I start paring up my birds in mid January early February. I have them separated for about 2 to 3 months prior to paring them up. They get plenty of REST. And DO NOT over feed them during their separation. This tends to make them on the LAZY side and not interested in breeding. I worm them all 1 month before I put them together. Then I just sit back and let nature take its course. NO MEDS....ever. I don't believe in medicating birds to better their health. I have a good CLEAN, DRY loft with good ventilation. I don't have to deal with sickly birds because of this. As far as feed during breeding. I feed pellets, so no need for GRIT or OYSTER shell to help them have hard egg shells. ---------- Fly High and Roll On Paul
