Hi, I'm from Snowflake, Arizona at about 5600 feet and have been raising rollers off & on most of my life. Just got back into the hobby in a huge way as I just was given an 80 bird operation by a close relative! Needless to say, My two boys & I will be busy the next couple of weeks adding onto our loft. I normally keep between 15 to 25 birds as that many can keep me busy. My boys are 14 & 12 so they'll get a good crack at the hobby with their own kits. I've never competed, I just enjoy the birds. I've been stunned at some of the loft designs that are posted, wow!

Thanks for the welcome, Yeah, there's not many rollers around here, there is a racing club here in the White Mountain area that boasts 20+ members locally. My cousin just moved to Utah and didn't opt to take his birds so I got 'em! I got a young gal started with a kit of 11 two years ago so there's just three or so fanciers up here into rollers.

Hi there--I am glad to hear someone is in the area. I am in Taylor and I am looking for anyone close to talk birds with. I am flying a kit of young birds and am breeding from 7 pairs. I have birds from Richard Apodaca in Hesperia,California. I have been raising Rollers off and on for over 20 years, and I learn something new about them every day. I would sure like to meet you and share the sport/hobby with you. Bob Bryant

Hey showlow! My name is Jared Peterson I'll be giving you a ring here soon! I don't know if you know the Frei kid from Snowflake, but he left me with a huge bunch! I'll be adding onto the loft here in a couple days to make room. When I take delivery, you might want one or twenty!!! I'm only 40 but I've been doing this thing off & on for a long time.

I actually got some birds from him a few years ago, just before he went on his Mission. I know where he got his birds originally. Sorry to hear he is not into them anymore, but glad you are going to be raising them. I'll be expecting your call. Bob

Santandercol, so you were on the Apache rez for a while? I've been here all my life and belong to some of the oldest families in the area. There's nothing like this area. The only thing that stinks is when the wind is blowing! When it blows, it really blows!
