I have a young black roller (2008 NCRC #436) that rolled and crashed into a tree a little over a week ago. The bird was about 10 feet above the tree and ended up getting lodged between branches somewhere in the middle of the tree.

Here's the sad part. I thought the bird had made it back home and was in the kit-box since last week.... when actually the bird was outside lost, cold, hungry and quite thirsty.

....well anyway

Found the bird stumbling aimlessly at the front door to my home with a messed up eye and broken foot 2 days ago.

QUESTION: Is there a special eye ointment that I should put on the birds eye?

Hmmm.....

I don't know if the bird is going blind and wanted to assist it with medical aid to the best of my scientific capabilities.
