This is Richard Miller. There are rumors that he is going to give up the birds. I was not able to clarify that point. He is one of the rocks in the roller world and I would hate to think we would no longer have him in our midst as a flier and breeder. Super nice guy.
Joe Bob, I need not say more.
Walter Teal....there are fewer bigger than he is and not just in stature.
Jay Alnimer. I spent a whole day with him and it may have been the highlight of the Convention for me. A friend and a most esteamed one, at that.
I will have some more tomorrow.

Hey Nick,In the 6th picture I think you meant Richard Miller, not Jim Miller. And indead, a truly great roller flyer.
I seen his birds a couple years ago and they were probably the best Ive ever seen.
I also hope he finds his way back to the competition scene.

whos that standing to the right and behind Walter Teal ? I met him at the Illinois convention a few years ago. I`ve seen him in a lot of pics but I`m bad with names. He must get to all the big shows.

Butch is right about the Miller shot. It is Richard. I think I was thinking "Jim Peterson" from Iowa when I wrote this. For some reason they remind me of each other.

Ellis McDonald a very clever and funny man.
Gil Rand who helps me rethink any idea that I may have. He is heavely involved in the archetecture(sp) of the proposed new "World of Wings".
Ray Fleming; nice guy extroidenair(sp). I have no spell check right now (recent computer crasn).
This is Johnny Smith. Up beat, always and a delight to be around.
This is Dave Goss who has put a lot of birds in a lot of lofts.
This is Cliff Ball. This is a good man from top to bottom. There are many who think that Cliff and I do not like each other and that is far from the truth. We disagree with each others beliefs when it comes to pigeons and the running of the items within the NBRC, but he has my respect as a man because he is simply a good man.
I have more pictures coming later on today.

Nick, Great pics my friend. I wasn't able to make the convention due to duty obligations. I saw the pic of my buddy Walter Teal and had to wonder where my buddy Ray Fleming was, they are never too far apart. Glad to see you posted a pic of Ray. They are two very knowledgeable fliers and are friendly to boot.

That's Freddie Thomas standing behind Alex Hamilton. Freddie is a super nice guy too and can talk rollers for DAYS. Thanks for the pics Nick!! If not for my inconsiderate daughter getting married that weekend I would have dearly loved to attend. Good Job Y'all!!

This is Joe Embertson whose birds are flying in a lot of kits of others.
This is a drawing of the new World of Wings project. I hope someone will initiate a drive for donations to get it built. This is something that we all can share and be proud of.

This is Carl Braker a good guy who also was the Prelim. Judge for Region 5's Fall Fly 2008. Did a very rock solid job and had to put up with me and Ferrell Bussing for an entire week and 3400+ miles. Thanks, Carl.
This is Don Sutton who is one of the most honorable men I have ever known.
I just had to take this picture of Wendell Carter.....he was looking so clean at the convention.
This is Linda Siders who was kind enough to make the trip with me to the convention. I am in love with this woman.
This is part of the membership starting to set down for the food and the good times at the banquet.
