Anyone here going to the Pageant Of Pigeons in San Bernardino, CA - November 20-22?

http://lapigeonclub.com/pageant.html

I don't recall ever seeing many Rollers at the Pageant in prior years, but there have been a few show type Roller breeds there.

If you like pigeons and have never been to this, it's worth the trip .. admission is free and parking for a day is $5.00

I will be there I go every year I usally hang with the parlor guys and your right the roller section is never that big guys don't like to leave there birds for the two or three days. Rayvon Hall has taken it over and will be trying to make it better then previous years.

I always enjoy going to this show and never cease to be amazed at what a huge variety of pigeons there are. Most are very beautiful, but some .. ya definitely gotta figure that beauty was in the eye of the breeder! LOL!

The YB Show that the LAPC does in September each year is also a lot of fun .. nothing to compare to the Pageant but still makes for a most enjoyable day!

I've heard of these types of shows. I wish there was one closer to home!

I was there a long time ago and it was cool but I dont think I would want to leave my birds there for 3 days. If you do go show birds do you have to go everyday to feed them or do they take care of that?

Actually, Friday is probably the best day to go but Saturday is fine if you get there early in the day before people start taking their birds out to go home.

Juan .. the members of the Los Angeles Pigeon Club see that the birds are fed and watered. I don't think you have to be there to assure that this is done, but if I had birds there, I would probably go every day just to check on them cuz I am a worrywart!
