madmax keep your head up Bro.sorry to hear that is getting worst..this is the season for them to hit hard some its all year..I lost 2 yesterday one was hit bad its dead,, one he took ..another live but with a broken leg.. its lock up for me...

I'm only flying the Doneks now and they were attacked 3 times by the henery yesterday.All dove safely for the loft as they are crafty.Sorry Marlon,but it's crazy to be flying the BRs at this time of year.Good time to be more into preservation than competition.

You should Have seen these Falcons 2 pairs they are still hunting now for 2 hrs one just wont quit this is a Mutha !@#$%^* And I hate This it really really hurts it does Ive Tony Lost 10 that I know about

Yesterday I got hit by the falcon. It was one lucky bird that got away after being cought I dont know how he broke loose and dove straight down with the falcon right on his a$$, smart bird he came straight down and tucked under the overhang of the roof next to the kitbox. I was lucky to get'em all back .

That's a crock man! I hope you can recover soon. One thing in your favor is that you're in a warm climate & can breed throughthe winter. sorry about your bad luck.

Dam Max thats Fu#$ED up. Sorry to hear that but rember you cant break what's been broken, and youve been broken before...LOL youll bounce like you always do... yea I rember a post a few months ago asking how the Wild fire will effect the B.O.P's and I can tell you I have been foturnate I havent lost one bird the year toum. Ive done some research and I am in the true migatory bird belt. I seeum all plus I live in a lake town that includes on of the largest wildlife/bird refuge's about ten air miles from me. Bro there are times when you can fly around the B.O.P's but that time is getting smaller and smaller, What you are dealing with is not migratory it's planted,,, and it's a shame!!!!! Good luck Bro hope to see you sooner even if you cant bust my eye with a super kit .....1

That sucks Max. I locked my down after I qualified, then when I tried to refly them, lost one each day and some were cut so bad I couldn't use them in the team. I finally said "f" it and just kicked them out on finals day. Thankfully they weren't hit but they flew like they were on alert the whole time. If Cliff and the NBRC want to have the finals dates this time of year again, how many of you will participate next year?

They should change it to a Summer Fly early August at the latest and make the W/C later with the prelims in late april or early May.There are better times to fly than the way we do it now.MO.

I've never competed so I'm not as exposed to BOP problems when training for a fly. I simply fly when no BOPs are around. I think it's a shame for the US Fish & Game to be planting these BOPs like they have with no input from the public. It's kinda like the wolf problems here in Eastern Arizona & Western New Mexico. They are a serious problem & a threat to the natural world. We have a huge population of these birds that are simply feeding off of domestic animals rather than wildlife. If everyone locked down for a year, these BOP would die of starvation. I'm sorry but this stuff makes me mad.

Sorry for the loss. I used to love these BOP until they started eating mine or attempted, too. Now I have love-hate relationship with them.
I thought Las Vegas was immune to BOP before?

No we are not Immune They just migrate from here they are ussaully here from NoV to end of Feb the about it we are still lucky we have no coopers though which I think are just as worst..
They are here now time to be careful
