Can I let out just two homers at one time, to test how the BOP are and train them to the new trap, in a few days in the morning?

Yes kel. I let 6 out at a time just in case the hawks were bad, and they only stayed out for 20 mins.. But now I just built new trap on outside of pen, so now I want to just let out 2 homers.. They are 50 days old and were not born here.. They have been in the flight training pen for 3 weeks, I am just wondering will they come back if I fly only two of them? The blue check couldn't find his way back in the flight pen last time I flew them, he clung to the side of the flight pen, so I crawled up and snagged him and stuck him in the kit.. In a few weeks I will let out 10.. But keep in 2 just in case.. I will film them in few days..

There is safety in numbers. Each bird can warn others.
Are you asking how to rehome birds and trying to train them to use a new trap? If so, I think you can teach them the way you taught your rollers. If those homers were unflown before, and if they had time to see outside, then mostly they can come back as long as there is nothing that scares the hell out of them (during the first release) and takes off to the sky. Basically you want those homers see their environment from below and from the top of your area. My experience is that a bird may be able to see outside, but if it has not seen its loft from above, it can still get lost.

Nah these 2 homers are completely new to the loft, well they have been there for 2 1/2 weeks now and I would like to fly just them two.. I don't think the ravens can catch them.. But yeah I will train them to the trap for 3/4 days. As it is they have been in the flight pen for 2 1/2 weeks already.. sorry i repeated myself.. lol

I don't know what strain I have. All I was told is that they are sprint or medium distance bird. If you compare long distance bird with sprint or medium distance bird, you will see right away the speed difference. I know because I get to see my birds fly with a neighbor's bird and my birds overtake his. Nevertheless, they are not immune to BOP attacks. My birds get action almost every week from a hawk attack, but now I am scared that I lock up most often now. Just today I saw 5 hawks, 3 on my loft perched waiting. They are sharp-shinned hawk and Cooper hawk. The Cooper hawk is the most lethal and persistent.
Scanner? No, I don't know anyone. Sorry.
