I have a bird with bumps on its legs. Its like a yellow bump that cause the feet to look weird. Is there any specific medication to cure this disease. I need help. hope yall can help.thanks

Pigeon Pox..carried by mosquitoes...to late to vac. as the bumps come out after the fever..should survive. Watch the mouth and head..often the pop out there also.

Pigeon pox treat with sulfur powder mixed on there feed will get ride of it.Some feed stores carry it or ask your local nursery.

Once they have it there is no cure. It must run its course. Unless it gets in the mouth or eyes do nothing especially pick or remove the sores. When it runs its course the bird is immune forever. You can also vaccinate for it if it is really bad in your area. I dont here in Florida because all my birds get it sooner or later and most are immune. I can only be spread by a mosquitoe biting and infected bird and then biting an uninfected bird. The mosquitoe is just a carrier.
