I think that I did something stupid. I finished a new kit box, went and bought a new water and food tray. I rinsed these items, but did not wash them.
I now have a pigeon with a droopy wing, it will not fly off the floor. I have separated it. I fear it may be paratyphoid. Hopefully get some antibiotics tomorrow. Anyone have any luck with birds once have had this condition, or is it going to be a cull. it is a young bird, my last hatches, hatched about Oct 1.
It is in a new kit box and could be injured?

Besides a Vet anyway to be sure it is Paratyphoid?
Thanks for the help

seperate it from the rest and watch it,also keep a eye on the rest of them! I would 4 in 1 med it if it does not improve!

Don't be hasty..young birds trying to fly in loft or kit box and injure muscles..any lumps on the joint? Yep, isolate. I doubt the new kit box or feeders/waters had anything to do with it.

It is Isolated, the joints did not feel like they were swollen. None of the other birds have showed any signs yet. I am hoping for an injury over the infection. But will medicate to be sure.
Ihope he is Okay
