I would give them 2 teaspoons of baking soda in a gallon of drinking water right away. Stir it from time to time so it does not settle. These droppings could be caused by any number of things, it's best to have it analysed in a lab. I know that Foys offers this sevice...Good Luck

Give the sick bird half an advil tablet and it will help.I had a roller of mine in the same condition and a friend told me to try an advil and the bird was OK the next day.

You should be supplementing your birds with garlic as well.

Birds going light, especially young birds, is stress. Stress is one of the most constant conditions of young birds from weaning to flying, to kitting, to being considered dinner, to fending for enough to eat. The most common cause of this going light due to stress is coccidiosis. The cheapest cure is sufla drugs. If you isolate the sick birds, don't forget to treat the group(kit) that you removed that bird from.

and follow up with probiotics after treating the birds. After they appear ok, use the pigeon builder or similar suppliment with the probiotics alternating every few days. Also a drop of apple cider vinegar in the water from time to time is good too. ---------- Butch @ Sundance Roller Lofts

When my birds got lost for 3-4 days, it came back with that poop. It is basically means starvation. The bird is starved of nutrients(food). I think the bile fluid goes straight to the intestine because there was no food to process.
Maybe your birds need to be wormed if they are eating, but getting light. Worms sucked all the nutrients in so your birds starve. Just a guess!

However, someone told me this disease is called Paratyphoid and to use Nitrofurazone (NFZ)to cure it. I was told it is cuased by a disease that's in the air . Has any one ever herd of that?

I hope you've isolated them from the rest of your birds until you've got it figured out. Good luck & let us know what happens. I'm interested as I've never had any sickness like that yet. (knock on wood)

Bigjavy, You can get 4 in 1, or some call it 1 for 4, here from Tony, or any Pigeon supply house. As I said before, it works great. It treats Canker, E-coli, Paratyphoid, and Coccidiosis. Good luck and let us know how You make out. YITS, Chuck

Ive had this happen before the main thing you have to watch for is that nasty poop building up on um it will block the passage and they will become septic, then basically die..in the past years when I have had a sick bird or two I would panic and treat the whole flock this can build a immunity to the antibotics you are givin. I hate needles but in 97 when I got PMV in my loft that changed, a local vet showed me how to shoot them up boath muscular and just under the skin. Now Ive found a better way and that is to shootum up with the antibotic,, In the brest. This has been a great way for me to treat individul birds without treating the birds that dont really need it... hope this helps.. I think Tony might have injectible's here on the site if not alot of feed stores have it,, one other thing be sure you are using the proper needle and serange(My Spelling Sucks) LOL.. Hope this helps,, You will see a improvement not now but right now...LOL Good luck
