Two years ago this whole month (including my birthday and Thanksgiving Day) I spent in pain, lonely, sick, scared, in a hospital bed in M D Anderson in Houston fighting appendix cancer.
I won.
Two years free and counting.
I know gratitude so well that I can taste it!
We'll be camping in the piney woods this year on Thanksgiving Day/weekend with horses and dogs and good friends. It will be a challenge to have turkey and dressing over the campfire, but it will be GOOD. We'll have to fry the turkey instead of baking.
Hard times ahead for the nation, but lots to be thankful for anyway.

Glad you pulled through Laura! Make the best of your second chance! My wife's twin sister was diagnosed with cancer for the second time last week. Its in-operable this time.
We should all be thankful if we have family, friends, and our health, you never know when things are going to change!

Would like to say Happy thanksgivin to all here on the site and your families. I year ago today I lost my sister so as I am thankful my thanksgivins from here on out will never be the same she was very dear and close to me.

Gabe my home boy supppp.....that is one cute lil girl you got there tell her my wife said those pies came out good and she don't know how to make them like that...I tell you one thing they got me hungry they sure look good from here oh yea ..you have a good one ...peace..I mean send me a piece of that pie ..apple pie right? :)

We've had 3 federal elections here in Canada in the last 2 years at $300,000,000.00 a pop and still have a minority gov that can't do much of anything.I'll be thankful if we don't have another one next year.
