Ralph - The red badge came in about 7 months old but he started going in second gear at 13 months. What I mean by that is that at that time he was making me wet in my pantslol :). The hen is his first cousin and I call her shrinker.

Ying - The badge you have is the same as well as the black hen.

Thanks TT!

Pat - Thanks. (Pat you have brothers and sisters also).

Strong looking Spread Ash Red Cock... LaRon.

Pat, that Bronze unband bird is one strange color. Never seen any thing like that before. Looks very tight feathered which usually is a good thing.

Thanks for sharing guys,
Thor

Rudy - The red check youngster got eaten but the bronze is doing great. She is spinning well but only 20" at the moment. I will be locking down soon as the BOP are starting to return in my area. The Pensom family are very powerful and intelligent pigeons.

Nice pigeons. What is the feather feet pigeon pat66?

Is it a roller or west of england tumbler? - it looks very nice. If its a roller I have not seen one of those before. Maybe its because not a lot of them are in the UK.

Dark Horse - I sent the bird to Pat. That bird is down (4 and 5 generations away) from J. Leroy Smith birds. Smith imported birds from England from William Pensom and many of the birds he received were from Harry Bellfield and some were grouse or muff. The birds sent to America, that were know in America as Pensoms, have heavy muff and grouse gene.

Tracey - The full brother and sister mating looks better than those. I still owe you a photo.

Thanks for letting me know 3757. I would like to have roller like that. Maybe one day one of my rollers will breed something like that because I was told that feathered feet rollers happen in rollers. Its just about when it will happen.

I had a white with muff feet and what a roller.
well the white I gave him away due to the fact he wasnt from my familey of birds and he bread a pair of roll downs.
Sadly he whent to a terrible home and returnd to my house looking like a bag of spanners.
He has now gone to a better place.
I realy kick myself bcause this one guy ended up with about 30 of my birds (FREE OF CHARGE) and has just let them go to bits.
Some one would realy be set up with them birds and dare I say make a good little familey out of them.
But as we all no some people just carnt be helpt.
harrison.

Good story harrison. I know what its like you give someone your pigeons and they might not keep them properly or they might sell them off to some other person.

I thougth that I had realy got this guy onto a good thing as like I said non of my friends keep pigeons.
So I thougth atleast I will have someone to go visit and try to mentor him.
You no get out of the house for a couple of hours and go have a coffe and a roller chat with him ect...
He turnd out to bea total toss*r.
Thinks he knows everything and anything.
Just wont listen.
Always says ( I NO) to everything I would say to him.
Not blowing my oun trumpet but I can see why my now friend steve respects me for the way I am with my birds and doesnt have any problems me taking (ANY BIRD) from his property to loan.
(He also can take any of my birds)
Infact he his settleing two for next year now.
So yes were was I?
Bcause he started me up and he didnt think that nearly 3 years later I would still have the same birds and still be 100% dedicated to them.
He told me that he uses me as an example to anyone inquering about birds.
He says there is a lad calld harrison and 3 years on he hasnt lookd back.
He has tried to help some people out THIS YEAR but then birds have come back and he hasnt had no phone calls.
So of course they have lost intrest.
I get to his house before the pigeons do if ever I lose one.
And its things like that
That he notices in me.
I would love to start somone up and give them hands on help but I dont think I am in any rush to do so at the moment.
Anyways thanx for reading harrison.
