first of all i just want to say thanks to everyone for the welcome & secondly my birds (BLACK COUNTRY ROLLERS) were imported to canada in 1983 right from bob brown jay lucarrelli went to england in 83 & had 22 pair shipped to canada the birds that i have were never crossed with any other line as jay wanted to keep them pure and has done so since then as far as me flying them i havent as i am going to breed from them in 2009 jay flew his birds for me but the bops got at them within a couple of minutes but what i seen they kit good & spin great hope to do well in the new year so thats about it

hey Ballrollers the almond is from some of my old stuff that i got out of (BUT THE WIFE MADE ME GO & GET HIM & A KITE HEN BACK) as far as i know he should spin but i havent flown him he is a late 2008 bird but ill fly him this year if hes no good hell be gone for good next year (THATS IF SHE DONT CATCH ME AGAIN) ha ha

nice birds true spin, i especially like that one the 8th one from the bottom up,what is that a dark almond?looks like your going to have a great 2009.

Personally I think #3,4,5 up from the bottom are amazing looking! Overall I might have to give Best of Breed to #11 from the bottom.. lol Great looking bird! I'll have it. lmao

Welcome true spin Nice to have someone else on the site who even knows of Bob Brown ?
I responded to your question on the other post my birds are also from Jay
so far i have tried other lines but nothing beats the performance of jays birds usually they go into a spin at 3 months sometimes some spin and they are squeaks. I don not have from all of jays pairs so I see a resemblance to some of your birds . Are all of them jays from brown line in the pics ?
