how many of you guys have good rollers that are solid black? small and compacted {small bird}. man i had so good luck wit black birds and solid reds. man i bye birds all the time from different places and peopele. and there is some one in my area that brings in rollers and parlors. to this local petshop. and i have been pulling good birds from his so called cull birds! but u can find me checking them black birds really hard. anyways i would like to see a family all my own maybe a muff family one color....lol. .......man one kit same style same color!j/k

Where is Scott. Most of his are blue checks, and black. At least mine from that family are like that. They roll good to.

fontana u stay in fontana if ur buying from elias pet shop dont buy them i know where their from most suck hit me up and maybe if i have something extra ill hook it up this year i stay in rialto...

you can make gold out of another man culls but soon or later for whatever the reason he cull them it would show up to bite you..

It may be true and then it may not. Whos to say that someone who is not a roller individual finds or strays in some good birds and he takes them to the pet store. Or, person just needs to down size some birds and best thing to due is to take them to the near pet store. Some of the guys out there are not in it for the money as there so, so , so many people making money of there birds and yet, many dont compete.
Back to the pet store issue. Yes, chances are they are taken a big gamble and buying someone else's culls. Considering that the people who due by them, cant afford to pay $100.00 or more from a top competator. Next best thing is buying a bird from a pet store at around $6.00 and breed them with out any background of the bird or the breeder.
So, should I pay $6.00 or should I pay $100.00.

and cooper, this little $$$$ was breed by my close cousin. the daddy was from a friend name linner. this bird goes back to Hendersons.

i have to agree with PAUL R money is a big issue ,some say find a breeder that will sell u some but it takes a while to get them to trust u ,so u have to start some where and for $6.00 its not a bad place to start..(learn)
p.s.elias feed store was where i started my first trial kit.. there are birds with some good breeders bands if u get lucky .fly them and enjoy till u get a chance to go to some shows to get better birds.until then enjoy and learn

Blacks are nice. I have several in my stock loft. I have one with a white tail that is real nice in the air.

i have never seen a pure black bird only in picture..they are awesome!!i have one but then it has white marks on the face.. (grizzle gene)
