At the top, you should get a heading saying "resize". Left click on it and choose your picture size, I use the 3rd one, 320x240 left click on it and your picture will resize or use 480/640

Thank you PR...The White-eyed red w/f hen is the "homer-roller" that got loose at a lawn show in the late summer and showed back home 30 miles away the next morning. I like the homing instinct of days gone by..that used to be in our rollers. I suggest that comes from flying a bit higher sometimes..and looking around.

Longroller, for me, its easier to size my pics before I ever hit the download tag in photobucket. That way they are always the right size if you decide to post them again in the future!

480 x 640 is a good size!

Nice birds!

Diamond..Mr. Don Penny in Northern (?) CA. has had rollers since 1940..his first birds were fed-hand caught at the Civic Center park..NPA banded..1939-1940-1941...Joined PRC very early in clubs conception. Many birds from Carl Silvey and some from Bob Evans..a very good one from Bob Alcorn..Birds did very well early on..Mr. Penny left PRC when the dual purpose bird was being developed..1978 got sick..while in hospital friends (?) liberated his seed stock..(to their lofts)..This is scetchy..but the basics...Is he a big player today?? No..are his birds big players today?? no..but this is part of the "Pensom" history. Pictures are posted to show the body style of early blood and to be compared to birds today. These birds are direct descendants from his 1974-1975 birds. They are 10-20 foot, great velocity, and frequent. Excellent feather quality and body style..short short short.

Just an update..that small red hen produced an outstanding cock this year...I watched it yesterday do 25-30 footers in high velocity and every 30 seconds for about 5 minutes coming down. I will post a picture..by the way..I read on this site about a flyer whose bird had some small "horns" of feathers behind the head after a strong fly...this RC cock had them yesterday..I looked on my binoc's for several minutes to make sure...looks very..'horney'. These are Don Pennys old blood..73-74...I am impressed with the small number I have. No slop or slow...good speed, short..10-15 feet but like I say, yesterday the RC cock was doing 30 footers frequent. Bruce

PR..look at post 61..her background..She produced a cock I witnessed yesterday doing 30 footers very fast ever 20-30 seconds. I saw him working when I was out in the pasture and walked all the way back to the house, got my binoc's and followed him to the landing board..record book out..he had already been marked as a short high velocity spinner. But he now has a depth to add to his resume. His sister is going against the BB cock pictured under her. Bruce
