I just ordered this new Challenger...it will be here in 9 wks........I got the car at cost....I have done moonlighting at a local dealership and i am good friends with the owner.....so....I ordered it today....they just sold one for 12,000.00 over sticker....
oh and one of the woman an I ....celebrating my purchase....Except I have major helmet head...we rode the bike...lol

$12,000.00 over sticker ? is that right? Also, is that a deal if thats what they sold it for? Wow, things must be a lot better out west. Here in Indiana, they would probably let ya drive it off the lot for $12,000.00.

Yes they sell them over sticker for that much...I would never pay that...but the owner of the dealership has felt bad about my divorce and the shit I went through...so He is hooking me up....As far as 10-12,000 over sticker....they are a wanted car..and they are only going to be built for a short time....so...they are a hot car...but in the bay area they are up to 15,000.00 over sticker...anyway...i am paying a little over invoice.
As far as the wife...she is not my wife...she is my girlfriend...I am a little gun shy of the wife thing...since the last one took me to the cleaners....I couldn't by a masquito a rain coat a couple months back....LOL
As far as driving as good as she looks...oh hell no....if she was a pigeon she is a chronic bumper...she hits everything....she told me..."what do you expect baby.....I am Asian"....LOL...she drove by big ass Dodge Diesel 4X4..so I could catch some sleep on a long trip...that lasted about 15 minutes...until she scared the shit out of me close to the guard rail...LOL

The care is slated to get 18mpg city and 26mpg hwy......I know a guy that averages about 22mpg with both city and hwy...but does more hwy....It is better then my Diesel Truck.....10mpg- 15mpg.....getting about 13 on average.....not good...lol

Rod....I did not pay over sticker...I payed below sticker..but Most will pay over....it has to do with supply and demand....these cars are going to be short lived....and there are not a lot out there...last year they only produced 6700 cars....so they are more collector cars....I believe Jay Leno bought the first car off the line.......the Z06 is another car.....the Vette ZR1 is another....The Camaro SS will be that way too.....these cars are the cars of the future that will be at the Barret JACKSON auction being auctioned off.....did anybody ever thing a Nova SS, Chevell SS, Convertable Cuda, Cobra etc would be worth a bucket full of money in just 25-30 years....NOPE...not at the time.......rock and ROLL

You have to look at it this way too...there are a lot of guys out there...that had an old muscle car back in the day...and with they had it now......and now they can....that is why everything is RETRO>....going back in time..being young again..

Paul,those are all nice OLD style cars but not really practical in this day and age.Something that does more like 60mpg is the car of the future,or even plain old electric.When my old truck finally gives up the ghost(now at 200,000miles)I'll be going electric for sure.By then they will be producing one that will do 50mph.That is fast enough to get me to the feed store on the highway south of town.
