What made u choose the user name redchecker 16? I remember guys talking about a bird that they called red checker 16. I think it was a Higgins bird

Bigwilly here it GO! Redchecker was a stray bird i strayed in bck in 2000 on the 16th of October (with no band as a Squab) witch was on my GrandFather Birthday 10-16 (RIP).well i asked around the few CATS around my area did they loose a redchecker(no band) they all said no so i flew the pigeon for 11/2 year an he came in solid 20-30 fast with control never Bumped when coming in he would shorten up.Well I decided to breed him in 2003 an bred a round flew the squabs Lost the hen but the cock came in at 4-5 months 20ft fast well me not noing what i no now put him back up an flew him some more well a buddy of mine (ED Randell) had kept my pigeons when i moved while he had them he bred this cock 2 rounds well i flew another son a black that was fast 30ft spinner at 4 months an i showed it an won 1st place Y/C.Well by this time we started breeding him 2 keith London Hens an man the spin came even better. well KL came by one day an asked about that cock an said he was good looking an why we didnt show him I said he has no band# so we put a cut band on him. well we showed him an he took a 1st 2nd &3rd an his sons an Daughter has a few 1st 2nd an the pigeons that come off of him are some nice spinners. AN for the record i never new about the famous 0016 or Jerry Higgins pigeons I was'nt into pigeons like that or Peds.until i started reading/hearing his name,so i named him Mr. Unknown redchecker16*** thats the story bigwilly

THISROLL never found the 1 who bred Him dont no what Family/Line he's frm But after 8years of feeding him i consider him mine LOL! Not all my birds are based around him still working on that & Yes he is my main Cock!
