V99, That is a nice looking bird. Are you sure it is a kite and not an ash red indigo checker. From the color of the head, flights, and tail it looks like it is carrying the indigo factor rather than kite. At least thats what it looks like in the photo. Keep em spinning Joe Beach

Those first birds are not Indigo in color. The show people have got it all wrong. Getiton's picture is real close but has to much bronze in the wings. Joe Roe flew the first Indigo rollers in competetion back in 93 that were bred from some James Turner birds he developed and were blue/purple in the neck with lighter blueish bodies. No red in them.
