A perfect roller?
one who spins with H or A wing position AND rolls 20 to 30 feet consistently( every fly),With control...
One who NEVER bumps, rolls down or lands early. A bird that NEVER has a kitting problem.
A bird that, after 2 or 3 years in the air, is moved to the stock loft and produces the same.
All that being said, a champion...
Not many of them around...
oh ya,
and it aint yellow...LOL sorry kops. Just kidding.

deano,

"what does it perform like??"

I believe "Longroller" nailed it nicely.

But, my interpretation would sum it up in two words .... Like Silk.

Very smooth and they all work hard.

Regards,
Bill

hey deano,

Shoot Longroller an e-mail.

I am sure he can point you in the right direction.

FYI, it is a long wait, but well worth the time.

If your are serious on the question..there is a very interesting article (often quoted in more recent articles) by James Graham in the APJ November 1964 "Will The Perfect Roller Ever Be Found?" In the article he discusses 3 factors to judge the bird, and by the way all the judging is in the air. Interesting article..check it out.
