Andrew, I believe it is a yellow check which would be the dilute of Ash Red check.

It is spread ash red dilute. In other words, it is a spread yellow check.

She was kinda moulting, she isn't a check but she sure does look it in the pic. Yeah I think I go with spread ash red dilute! :) or Ash Yellow.

Rock Doves (pigeons) come in 3 basic patterns:

1) Checques*

2) Bars

3) Selfs

I think Duns, Grizzles, Tortoiseshells, Mottles and Spangles (Splashs) are spread factors.

....well anyway Andrew

The pigeon looks like a diluted checkered pattern to me.

QUESTION: Does that bird roll?

Thanks Edgar! Marcus of course it does. I'm not 100% sure how good she will get thought, when I fly this year, I will be flying her as a holdover with some other 08s.

Thanks a lot Marcus! Oh I'll take good care of her. It was funny at the last show, somebody offered me 50 dollars for her and I said no and then he told me to name a price and he would pay it I still said No.. lol I'm happy with my choice! :)
