I thought about that,
i have 1 veteran bird left, this bird has flown 3 years already,i put it up last year and bred 1 round in winter and put it back on the Kit.
The oldes 2 birds on my main kit is him and the daughter i got out of him
He must have something special to survive 3 years, and what ever it is his offspring must have it too.

sunflower, i though about breeding stock birds that have out flew bops more than once, hoping that the kids will have the ability to out fly bops and can still have the roll in them,
that way you wont lose any good birds to bops.

have any one else ever tryed it?

I got a 02 and an 04,that the falcon can't get a hold of ,he goes home hungry every time .. both are a father and son but the falocn took every daughter and other sons and the mother.but I think his luck will run out soon..he doesn't roll as much so maybe that s why has more energy to get away I think..

I read somewhere that some rollermen use flying oriental rollers to out manuever bops and discourage them from going after the BRs. They let the oriental rollers out first then the BRs. I'll see if I can find it somewhere.

Catalonian Tumblers have been discussed by several guys for a couple years now. I believe the results are mixed on their effectiveness

sorry guys but through natural sellection the next generation of Bops has already passed the gene to catch the fastest pigeon.trying to out speed the bop will only produce faster BOPS.so pleas stop trying, concentrate on quality of the roll and lock them up,lol

Pigeons have a hard time avoiding those low flying coopers. I hate those things! I'd rather have a bee sting!

I have Oriental Rollers, which can out fly and out manuver the hawks in my area. I haven't lost many B/hams since I've been flying the OR's.
