I expect all black beaks in my Neibel babies which are about to hatch but not these.

K so I bred this pair, first time ever I have bred two dilutes together.. But these are my two best birds. They are both flesh colored beaked birds but now the babies both have like black beaks at 3 days old already. I am confused, I have never really gotten this.. Any ideas what they could be when they're older?

My babies are gonna be hatching galore, my Neibels will double soon.. lol

Kope,

Were these birds in a free loft or cages? If cages I would say you have a dark gene possibly coming through..If not caged its anybody's guess..

No one would ever know. Roller can be trace back to more then 2000 yrs ago. The reason why that bird that you got there is there is because his or her line trace way back. Their great great great great great great great great great grandmommy or grandpoppy could be solid blk or something.
