Best time to fly the birds is 1st thing in the morning. Just as you can see the full sun over the horizon. It's cooler & usually very little wind. I would never fly the birds from 12 noon to about 3pm. This is when the sun is up in the sky where the Bop's can hide in it. Old birds morning, young birds late afternoon. there is never a good time, a bop can come to your place any time they want.
i have been attack in almost every hour of the day and night, just fly at a time that you think theres no bop around.

I prefer to fly in the afternoon/evening. 2 reasons; in the summer I work early in am, so i wait until the evening cools down to fly. During the winter its so damn cold in the mornings I prefer to watch when its a bit more comfortable, like afternoon temps. ---------- Jon

I get home at around 7:30 am from work & have done so for the last 8 years so morning is best. Afternoons here can be extremely windy too. I find that my birds roll better in the am for some reason. Hmmmm? ---------- http://www.freewebs.com/brudahpete/

Regardless of the time of day, my teams do their best work when I fly them 26-30 hours after their last feeding. I think its just a mental thing, they feel like Im pickin on them yet they have all the nutritional energy needed to work hard. It mean I have to plan ahead a few days and get the feeding done so that I can stretch the time a little. ---------- Jon

Yeah, I have had a kit in the past that had a 30 hour time clock. You had to go by that rule or they would fly for 5 or 10 & down they'd come! ---------- http://www.freewebs.com/brudahpete/
