Hi jowarollers , I find very interesting two books: "Keys to flying competition rollers"" by Tom Atcher adn friends and the book " Flying the Birmingham Roller " by David Gehrke. In the first you can fid many interwiews to top competition roller man of the world , in the other there're many articles : breeding, conditions and flying , managing for succes.....etc . just my opinion....

A Guide To The Developement of Performing Rollers...
By Joe Houghton. NO nonsense, straight forward, easy to understand... Best roller book I own.

For pigeons in general... Go with Nick Siders. The Pigeon... By Levi

I still want the Encyclopedia of Pigeon Breeds... myself. As a kid I bet I checked it out at the library a couple dozen times or more...
I think that book is still pushing about $100.00

iowarollers we talk about training our birds as in conditioning .The right feed to get the most out of them. the trapping is one that you mention train them to fly the time we want them to.. and the training to roll well that if its in their gene the ro gene that will come out with time .its like in the fighting pitbulls for an example people say you train them to fight its in their blood you don't train them ..
