ya they are the red one was given to me in aug '08 and the white one was given to me in early october so they are 1 yrs of age thanks for the comment i like having them around they almost better than having kids or a dog or a wife don't have to yell at tem to do something or don't complain lols they just look at ya w/ that head cocked to the side when i talk to them when feed'n em lols kevin

ya my birds survived the -45 below temps last week they get this good ole iowa corn lols my loft i made works pretty good it faces the south and i put .063 aluminum on top of the roof and it is all wood no wire bottom i put paper down and clean 2xs amonth being only 2 rollers and when it is warm once a week so i was just amazed how they survive the winters if they were out in the wild tough lil birds well take care kevin

-45 man how did you survive I thought my birds were doing good at+2degree but i did have 6 young birds just in pin feathers survive the 2 degree stuff good luck talk later

i use hay for them the white one likes the one nest box and the red one always sits above the white so i put some hay up there to help so thats what worked kevin

looks like my birds will endure another really cold snap starting tonight -20 to -30 below zero i usally block the avary w/ burlap sacks and block the trap door w/ a sheet of aluminum the winds are from the nnw and they survived the really cold snap of over
-50 so they should be ok kevin
