Scott you should really get rid of some of that mistle toe in those trees. It can eventually kill the tree or at the very least weaken it. You know me and trees. They always feed me something. Not a tree hugger, I'd rather save the children than Oak trees!... Oh dang! Nice birds too. Bill

Lipper? What does that mean? You did stop drinking didn't you buddy?

Also, the birds look like commies compared to Heine's! No wonder you haven't won the world cup!

Thanks guys, these are older pics that I had on photo bucket already.

Thanks Able, that is actualy a mother& son ,she is one of my top producing hens,I think that you would find them all pleasing up front and personal.
That third cock was awsome, I was going to stock him after the Fall fly a few years ago but he got hawked on the pre-lem.

Andrew, they all do, I don't take pictures of a bird unless it is worthy of it.

Clay, #690 is only distantly related to the R/R on the top side, tighter on the bottom side, #690 is more off a cross of the family lines.
#706 is 3/4 off one of my main cocks,in fact I have his full brother in stock.

Bill, you should come and remove that stuff, but I think these scrub Oaks thrive on it LOL

Ken, yep they look like commies, never said they were pretty, but then I was always attracted to dirt ugly girls with great bodies also, tell Hiene that me and Tammy said hi.

Lipper, sorry that I missed your comment, sounds like it would have been a good one LOL

Scott,
Great looking birds but I think you could use a couple more dark checks. I see what you mean about the expression.

Thanks Joe, everything goes back to a few key birds, I get a few R/R and a few smokey B/B.
The rest are Blue or dark ck,it's a real pain in the ass trying to ID birds in the kit at time's,but it sure gets you looking at details in flight and I've gotten pretty good at it.

I know what you mean about the key birds. I put my best 6 pairs togethet yesterday. All blacks and blue bars. They all have a common ancestor, my black beard hen NBRC 919-99. She is in there also on one of her grandsons.

Very nice birds Scott, why dont you post them more often. This is what I feel the ideal should look like, although I dont think it matters what color they are painted. Thanks for posting them Scott.

Thanks Mike, the breed holds many colors and factors ,the hard colors are just the charactoristics of this particular family, nothing more and nothing less.

Not sure who you are or whether this is directed at me or not? But Lipper is the name of my foundation coonhound a Treeing Walker coondog. As far as drinking goes, I am not afraid to tip a few back. Nope havent won the world cup...As far as the birds posted here looking like commies, you may be the one that needs to put the bottle away.... As far as your last sentence goes ?????

hi mike,

i did not mean to be insulting. I just meant to be kidding around with Scott who started the post with a heading of lipper. i honestly had no idea it was someone on the lists handle.

As far as my last sentence goes and the color part, it was because i was on my way to visit Heine Bijker in Holland, who's birds have a bit more variety of color than Scott's.

Scott has been one of the top three flyers in norcal the last few years and is agood friend of mine. so was really just sitting on the train bored and thought i would kid him around a bit from 7,000 miles away. I am sorry if I was offensive in any way to you.

regards,
ken firl

Scott,
I noticed the eye cere on the first bird.Do you think that is relative to proper feathering,or ever heard any thing like that.I look for it on my Racers....Aloha,Todd

Todd, the eye cere is relative to proper feathering in as not "too" much, too much feather on a Roller is a negative.
