manny have u tried flashing a light to the foster egg to check if there r red veins....if so then wait or sometimes just wait awhile longer and see what happens

well I had set it up 2 sun light but that was when it was jus laid..but its already been about close 2 a month..and like I said the younger egg has jus hatched 2day...and it was laid about a week after the foster egg...

lol @the Game....if its a week difference than yes the egg will hatch a week later..

You need to check if the eggs are fertile in 5 days after they laid them. In 18 days they should hatch. If they have not you need to see the egg and check it with a flash light to see if they are dead.

and it is a week difference..but that's the thing..the foster egg was laid a week B4 the one that jus hatched...

well the egg isnt transparent..its jus the normal color..n if I hold it up 2 light, I can't see into it..

oh lol oops.

But yea man it will die if you crack it open. I suggest just leaving it for a lil longer. If it hatches then it hatches if not then oh well.

You might have another issue if it does hatch in a couple of days by then the other chick will be too big and might get most of the feed and the late hatcher might starve to death. Just a thought

dont bother in fostering eggs when laid that far apart like MR ART G said one will not make it anyway,unless you can foster it again,but this will make it feel unwanted
