No ! He was appointed . Even after They had a volunteer.

I believe that the volunteer should have been given a shot to do the job.

At the time, Jay appointed Joe, I had stepped down and nobody else had made it clear to either myself or to Jay, that they were ready to step up and take over the responsibilities for the region in 2008. I recall some general discussions with my brother Chuck, who indicated that at some point, he might like to be an RD. We discussed all the responsiblities and the committment in time and personal finances that are generally required as an RD, and he indicated to me at that time that he would be unable to take all that on, so he was not considered as a serious candidate when Joe volunteered. Apparently I was mistaken. I have been in communication with Chuck, and he feels that he was overlooked in this process, and that we miscommunicated about his level of committment. So it looks like we will be having elections soon....

I made it VERY CLEAR, that I would volunteer for the position of 1D RD to both You and Jay, But,as with other issues that I have presented to You Guys in the past, I was totally blown off. I never indicated anything to You about not being able to take on the responsibility of RD. I don't feel I was overlooked, I know I was. Also, there was no miscommunication. Yea, You better have a election to cover Your Butts. LOL.

There are no butts to cover here. I did not understand that you were seriously interested last year, and apparrently neither did Jay. I guess you and I have very different ideas about the meaning of "very clear". If you were overlooked, as you feel you were, it was not intentional, and I am sorry for that error on my part. Joe only stepped up because we were not aware of anyone else that was interested. He has had a lot on his plate with a new baby and all....As I said, if mistakes were made, they were unintentional on my part and will soon be rectified by a regional vote. That's the best I can do, bud.

What part of, I would like to volunteer for 1D RD, didn't You understand ? You were not aware of anyone else being interested, because You did not want to be, and I'm not Your bud !

Hehehehehe...you got that right, Brian. Chuck, you say you said it, I do not recall you ever saying it, nor does Jay. Interesting, huh?.....I'd have been more than happy to have had you as RD. We need to take this private....
