What cause a pigeon beak 2 be twisted or not centered? Is that Canker or just a Fault from inbreeding? Breeding a bird like that will it POP-UP Later?

It is a genetic fault. Sooner or later it will pop back up, particularly if you inbreed or use close linebreeding. I had one cock that was a great spinner but threw 40 to 50% cross beaked birds. He went back to the kit for good.

Sunflower, I had the same problem.

Redchecker, I think that if it was an injury it would be o-k to breed from but not if it was born that way.

Like Joe said it is an genetic fault and if the bird was bred it will come up in some of the offsprings!!! My advice is NOT to breed it...

Hey Norm, still no birds yet.Gonna start ripping up the yard soon. The plan is to build a duplicate English style loft like ColinB,s on the U.K.Forum.
I,ve been invited to watch the local clubs flys,I understand theres some real quality birds up here. I,m using the picture of your 194 hen on my laptop desktop,I just love the build on that bird, would like to handle it,reminds me of my old racers.
Redchecker16, I would not breed a genetic fault. Glen.
