Everone is talking about how great 0016 was and that the bird came from Jerry Higgins right. O. K. My question is where does NORM REED come into the equation? in regards to 0016 ---------- BIG WILLY TOPP FLIGHT/NCRC

Hey Leon U, Me know this but alot of people dont know. Its fair to say that there would be no 0016 if it was not because of Norm. U agree right? Not hatin on Jerry just want to give the old man Norm his props. He deserve it ---------- BIG WILLY TOPP FLIGHT/NCRC

Hey Big Willy,
Not to knock Norm, but 778 wasn't bred by Norm Reed.

Couldn't sleep... so I dediced to do some extensive in-depth research at the secondary level on Birmingham Roller pigeons.
The Tiger Mottles above look highly well conditioned and ready to dynamically perform their high-flying acrobatic stunts. I could use a pair of those here at Deep Spin Lofts.
...other than that
Great looking birds here fellas!

So who did breed 778, 343, and 17599 and what else can be told about them. Its my understanding that they were Norm's birds... and I always assumed he bred them? That Norm sold these birds along with many others like 516, 991, 23, to Gary Sult... and that Gary Sult then in turn gave these birds to Jerry when he decided to back up and re-group? Any factual knowledge on this subject... or any of the other birds I mentioned is greatly appreciated... ---------- Joe Dan Parson Full Turn Lofts North Texas

778 343 17599 were all raised out of a pair from Richard Jaconette. The person who raised them was Ron Scena in the TRA....Norm Reed made the most of them while he had them and so did I......I think RJ and Joe Houghton deserve the most credit....I'm not sure just what happed to 17599 I think she quit laying and Norm gave her away. 991 never laid an egg after she was sold to Gary. I killed her a couple years later after I tried her and knew she was finished. Its funny how the good birds only come from a few.....smile. Jer ---------- Jerry Higgins

Damn, straight from the man himself! Thanks Jerry! I didn't know you were getting back on here again, thats cool! I knew they were out of 631 and 638 but thought that Norm had that pair for a while or something... now I know. I also didn't know that 991 didn't lay again after leaving Norm... that's too bad. I know feel pretty silly for not asking you personally. Thanks my friend! ---------- Joe Dan Parson Full Turn Lofts North Texas

Hey Kevin,
631 and 638 are full brother and sister. Not sure why the numbers are close but yet still to far for nestmates...lol I don't think they were nestmates.
Both were out of Rusy and the Windsong hen.
Hey JD,
Not sure on who bred 939? You may want to ask Jerry on Roller World. He usually responds right away.
