I was kinda bored today and decided to make my first prototype feeder for my nest fronts, The only reason i went this route is due to all the mess these birds make with the waste of feed, So i called up a friend of mine that owns a glass shop and asked if he had some 1/4 Plexiglas laying around, he gave me a sheet 2x4x1/4, I thought that would be a good size to play around with, so i came up with this clean design. P.s my nest fronts have a removable front door where i replaced it with the feeder. Enjoy!

Jedds also sells feeders very similar to these... except thay come in either 1 hole or 2 hole, and they have a hinged lid on the top that is actually on a 45 degree angle. They are a bit spendy though... I have them on my 18 singlemate pens... I like them... I too got tired of the mess... and more importantly... the waste... ---------- Joe Dan Parson Full Turn Lofts North Texas

good idea mate. I have a breeders open section and also a few cages for breeding. And they have wire floors and you can be sure that 60% of the dailey feed ends up underneath the wire floor wasted coverd in sh*T. I may use wood to make them (THIN BOARD) as it would be easyer to use. Thanx again. yours in roll harrison uk hull.
