Hey redchecker, last year I took the time to weigh my well conditioned kit birds, the smallest was a red bar hen which came in at 6.1 oz, the heaviest hen was 7.4 oz. Of the cocks the heaviest was 8.4 oz, and the smallest came in at 7.3 oz. They were flown 5 to 6 days a week and given a ration of 50/50 wheat/milo. I think this kit was one of the best I ever flew. ---------- FLY ON! Tony Chavarria

Hey Harrison. I do get some larger birds from my old family. And some of them can pull off some nice deep ones, and look good doing it too. But I really dont like them in general. ---------- Butch @ Sundance Roller Lofts

My line of birds you get little hens then the cocks not much bigger. I had a lavender cock years ago and he was huge. He had this big wattle on his nose and when he rolld you could here him ripping through the sky. Sadley one day he did a helicopter roll (SPINNING SIDEWAYS) and crashed into my chimmney. To this day I have never seen a bird or a roll like it. Has anyone ever come across the side roll? yours in roll harrison uk.
