Hey Thomas, I was the same way. I thought when I opened this thread I`d find a fantail roller or something like a pure Pensom Frillback blue bar...LOL
That is a good looking Bante tho Spanky.
If you cover up the head on that bird, I`m seeing a little Oriental Roller in that chicken... Look at the wing position and the upright tail.???

If you put the fun a side and look at the hen…shows that the hen accepted the chick as if it is her own. That says allot about the family of birds your friend has.
