This is interesting, I just read this again and noticed that for your club members, their first kit is paid for by the club. Is this right?
Thats actually very cool. Can you tell us a little more about your club and how it works? Is their fundraisers, like cook outs, shows, raffles and stuff like that to pay these WC entries?
That sounds like a great way for a club to help promote the fly. Very nice...

Yes Sundance each member donates 2 young birds into a young bird Auction, weve done this for the last 2 years
and has been very popular, its just a way of saying thanks to the members

hi all
sundance i think colin meant to put this post on the uk site.but im in the same club as him .what we do is everyone in our club donates 2 y/brds to our auction.
which in the last 2 years has made a lot of money.so we all get our w/c qualifyer paid for by the club.then any one who wants to put 2 kits in only has 1 kit to pay for.we have around 20 flyers but we do have some of the top men in the uk so thier y/brds can go for a lot of money.by doing it like we do we can get the 30 kits we need to get 2 through to the finals. 1 of them deano forster came 2nd to hiene biker 2 years ago.we also have a former winner of the w/c peter harper though he does not fly with us now.but thats the calibre of birds that go in the auction.
