Here is a scam email I received from a hacker who must have gotten into Roys address book:
"Hello,
How are you doing ? I tried to reach you through phone
before I traveled to inform you of my trip to London, England
for a programme but it was not going through .I arrived
London successfully.But presently, I'm have a
problem
I misplaced my wallet on my way to the hotel. Inside my wallet,
I have most of my valuable items which I traveled with like my
credit card, money and my telephone contact diary .Now, I have
to sort out the bills I'm owing at the hotel so that I can
start preparing to return home. The bill amounts to 800
pounds.
Pls, I want you to loan me this money to enable me settle this
bills. I promise I'll Refund the money back to you as soon as i
return.
I know I could count on you that is why i am contacting you on
this
issue.Pls let me know if you can be of any help. A friend
in need is a friend in deed.

I heard from S.D. today, he is not in London!
He will answer for himself, but trust me, do not send any monies!

Sounds like the same low life that started the one about Eldon last week. I really hope nobody gets sucked into any of these.

These scammers who want to get rich quick need to stop hounding ordinary folks and look for big money from the government like those people at AIG are doing.
Hmm.... I'm sure the U.K. has some type of financial program set up (corporate welfare) to help the rich stay rich.

From what I understand it is spyware. It seems to be happening to most of us that are on the group e-mail list. I use the super anti spyware program, and I pull 2 or 3 spyware and tracking cookies a day off my PC. Some people have to much time on there hands !

Roy, If you need money, just holler! You don't have to make up these outragious stories! LOL
I don't know what the deal is, but I've got something going on in my computer! Getting pop ups all the time now, and things are all screwy now. Just started about a week ago!

I got this same email..This one does not bother me as much as one I got yesterday from an organization I belong to..It stated that they have confirmed that Yahoo is tracking and reporting all my email..I do not use Yahoo!!

Yahoo tracking huh? that sucks Mike. I use a program called Window Washer by Webroot.

Thanks Butch, I will have to look at that. I was also told that Yahoo has blocked certain incoming and outgoing email..Not sure exactly what or why yet..

Tony....it's fun that you posted this. I got this same email yesterday afternoon,myself. I have been in close contact with Roy for the past several weeks now.
I live in Ohio,and just the other day on the NEWS was
a similar story.(different names of course) I found it quite amusing though....LOL One thing that caught my eye immedinately was the "email closure block". Roy uses a very distinct one. I sent the letter to him to see it for himself.
