List, I was talking to one of my good friends a few weeks ago and I also told him when we were done discussing I would probably post this to get different views on the subject we talked about what is the easiest quality you could put on your rollers(by breeding for it), we talked about speed (velocity), style, depth, kit sensitivity and kitting ability. In my personal opinion I told him it was depht. Now with your personal experiences what do you believe is the one easiest to accomplish in your loft?

I think there is nothing that is easy to breed for.
Those that say depth is easy, must be breeding a few deep ones already. If all you breed is short workers then breeding depth will not be quick or easy.
Breed for a single quality, and you may do this by having a few pairs aimed specificaly at improving that quality, but not all will produce what you want, and it may take a few different matings to get the improvement you seek, without losing all the other good points. This may take one season, it may take several, and then hope that the 'improved' bird or birds will pass on their improvements to the next generation, by which time maybe 6 or 7 years have gone by before you know if you are going in the right direction.
We all I presume breed for better speed, better quality and all the other aforementioned traits, but is can still take a lifetime to get there.
Only trying to encourage you!! LOL
Pete.

It is very easy to breed a Rolldown. How is that for depth.
