Hi Fred No corn at all during the summer months, if you live in the south. Pop-corn during the winter. Al

in the winter, whole corn is best, most like popcorn but it can get expensive around here, so I just use whole field corn. They love it, once they get used to it. No problems at all. You might have to just put it in the feeder for a couple days till they get hungry enough to eat it, but they will.
Dont feed them corn in the summer, and try to avoid the cracked corn, as it easily spoils and also can lead to canker. Oh ya, and make sure they get plenty of grit with the corn.

Cracked corn has problems with sharpe razor like edges that cause minute little cuts in the craw. This could lead to things like canker if they become infected with some types of bacterria.
Personally, I dont feed corn at all. A lot of my health problems went away when I stopped using it. ---------- Just My Take On Things
