Nick,
I think Jim Petersen is your best bet. There probably isnt a soul alive that knew George better. He was a great pigeon man and I met him once but I really don't know much about his accomplishments and contributions to the hobby.

Joe,
I think Jim will help me. I met him at Paul Vaughn's a couple of times when I was very young; a teenager. What I am trying to do is come up with enough info on him to recommend him for the NBRC HOF. The few talks I had with him were very informative to me almost 50 years ago.
