After waiting patiently we are finally getting some babies. Put our pairs together Feb 14th and they took over a month to lay...have seven hatched out at this time and all are on their second rounds. I really thought this year was going to be a real bust...Kinda scared me cause we started over with a family that has produced some good birds and had nothing really to fall back on. Plus the dog attack around Christmas really hurt us.
But, things are looking up!

Way to go Tommy! Hope you get some good birds out of em.
Doing ok myself, banded #38 today and should have 6 more hatch soon. Nearly half way there. My fosters were doing great but now there getting out a sink.
Dang 30 mile an hr wind every damn day isn't helping with the training though!
Good luck with the birds, hope to see you and Terry during the WC! I think the futurity fly will be May 23rd, but Ferrell wasn't 100% on that!
