The breeder that I got my birds from does not pair two corn eye birds together. The other color (pearl) he has no problem with. I have not seen any post on this subject. Is this something to be concerned about. Also a neighbor who raised birds for about 5 years with very little illness used store bought distilled apple cider vinegar. I have located three types. Most expensive is the one from feed suppliers, 2nd is RAW cider from health food stores, third is the distilled version from the market. The market variety does not contain the same nutrients as the raw one. Does anyone know if all three work satisfactory????

I use the health food version with the mother in it. In my family eye color is not a factor although when I looked at them a little while ago, uncontiously most of my pairings are orange eye to pearl eye. It is totally by accident, no intent to use eye color as a pairing factor. I don't breed out of bull-eyed birds as I don't really care for them. ---------- Keep em Spinning Joe
