The brand new West Texas Region completed thier first WC fly. We had a great time although our scores were less than stellar. Our finalist scored 413.14 Bruce was on.
Pix will follow. I am too tired road weary and hungover to do it now. We had one heck of a party after it was over.
Thanks to Ferrell Bussing and Bob Anderson of the OPRA for judging and scribing for us.

Thx to all the roller guys and women that join me in my fly got to excited and overfed but had a blast Birds skyed out for 13 min and were not scored left me with not much time I scored 60 1.3 x 1.2 with 5-5-6-7-8-6-breaks they flew for 3 hrs my b team dq....

What is wrong with that score ? Not goofy enough ? I have seen very few kits score higher than that in reality,congrads to the winner.

I also would like to Thank Ferrell for looking in at my birds and giving me some pointers and comments on them and suggesting that i move 4 pair into breeder loft which i did that evening all doing well started making nest next day. THANKS AGAIN FERRELL and BOB-- GOD BLESS!!!----------

Congratulations on the success of your first fly as a new region. Have experienced that here in Vegas and it is a good feeling when it is finally accomplished. Keep up the good work and best of success to Bruce in the finals. Hope my son or I are flying against him but time will tell on that in a few weeks!

The weather was kinda wonky. The front moved thru faster than they said. I didnt get to put em up for their last fly. They sat for three days and it messed up a weeks worth of feeding.
They flew a nice, slow figure eight pulled up and stalled then flew thru the break. They started working at about 30 minutes. The extra day killed em.
I had one break.
Rudy ya need to hire a midget to take care of your breeders.

It was a great time, I gotta thank everybody. Ferrel for comin out and judging for us. Robert for haulin me aroung, Rudy for the burgers and hospitality, dude you got this get together business down, it was alot of fun. and thank ya for that badass black bird, Ill put her to work, and thanks to kenny for puttin it all together, and those two groused legged birds. All and all it was a great time and I saw some good birds, look out for us in the fall and next year!!

You've got some good looking birds rudy, and a nice place. My kit did horrible, but I kinda expected it for just throwin them together. This was my second comp., first world cup, and it wont be my last! Just like they said, only one way to go from here haha.
