Today I just gave away about 40 birds: fosters; couple Rubys, 1/2 Rubys; Jaconettes; Fireballs and assorted birds that were given to me or I purchased over the years to a father and his son for a couple bags of feed. To see their joy and excitement at their new acquisition helped me to remember why I started in rollers all those years ago...
Does anybody else remember why you got into rollers? I am sure it wasn't just to compete.

Good feeling Tony...I got into rollers to get away from the city streets down below I remember running up the roof 6th story with my 8 track listening to this song>> Up on the Roof..great old song.......

Way to go T!
I have a friend that is tryin to get started, but is having a slow start at it. He's been to my house several times and has been to several of our weekend get togethers. I'm gonna give him some A and B team birds(enough for a kit) as soon as the WC fly is over. I'm more interested in getting more flyers in my area at this point. I'm planning on doing this for the rest of my life and I have some good young birds coming up. I think it will be way more worth it in the end! Besides, he is a good friend! Wouldn't of ever met him if it weren't for the birds!
