I have had rollers for 40 years and was a die hard pure pensom man and I still believe they are the best I have seen.but the bullshit involved in that is not worth the pain involved You newbies don't fall for the bullshit that comes with that. Please remember that the best pigeon in the world is the best pigeon in your loft and breed it to the next best pigeon in your loft.Thouse old pedigrees are for old guys to remmenance about.not for you to pay for If they haven't improved on a 30 year old bird look elsewhere

I can see the concern the purists have with polluting the breed as they say. I really feel that we cannot stay in the past either. We have the same responsibility to move the breed forward as Pensom did. I know some of the guys have some very good birds among the purists. I also know there are some excellent birds among the non purists. I would keep this in mind and remember your individual goal..

To me, all things must change. As a matter of fact "all" things must have some change at some point in time. Change is good or there could be "no" progress. What was, was.. And what is, is.. Just my take.

If "change" is good, innovation is better, it at least implies an improvement. Change, on the other hand can be a horizontal movement, thus no improvement, different, but not any better. ---------- FLY ON! Tony Chavarria

I am glad about that! Hey, I received the book this Saturday and I have read to page 71. I will hopefully finish it today. It is a fun and interesting book and I can see that we should carry it here.
Contact me with the details and I can let everyone on my email list know about it. Thanks! ---------- FLY ON! Tony Chavarria
